Patient Care Tech (PCT,PCA)

Provide or assist with basic care or support under the direction of onsite licensed nursing staff. Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, phlebotomy, performing an EKG or ambulation of patients in a hospital or nursing facility. Includes nursing care attendants, patient care techs, patient care assistants or nursing aides. This Houston Patient Care Tech class or Texarkana Patient.

Care Tech class will include the CNA curriculum and prepare you to perform basic Phlebotomy and EKG skills.

Students can expect to complete a minimum of 40 hours of clinical and a minimum of one skill day on campus.

Students will have up to 30 days to test after completion of this course.

Accelerated- 8-week course
